Zeppelin LZ 129
Zeppelinmuseum Friedrichshafen
Completed: 2013
For the permanent exhibition in the Zeppelin Museum, the airship LZ 129 Hindenburg was virtually reconstructed. Three themes, construction, crew and passenger decks were animated.
The animation” Construction” shows the construction of the aluminium frame made out of main rings and secondary rings and also the system of the gas cells.
In the second animation the passenger decks and also the other areas that were accessible for passengers were depicted.
The theme of the animation “Crew” shows the crew’s workplace and common area in the airship. At the same time the connecting passage ways that the crew had to take were pointed out.
